INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Concrete Slab Installation:

Break through concrete floor with a sledge hammer or a hammer drill. Chip hole to desired size. Dig out underneath floor to about 3 inches below position of safe. The more reinforced concrete that can be placed around safe, the greater the security. Partially fill hole with concrete mixture, set safe in adjust to desired position. Fill remaining hole with concrete mixture, then finish off level with floor. Make sure top of safe is kept level with finished floor.

Wood Floor Installation:

Build a retaining form of wood, or a basket made with mesh wire lined with roofing paper, and attach to joist between the floor and ground. When using a wood form be sure and remove wood to prevent termites from traveling into building. Cut a hole in floor, set safe, and finish off with cement flush with top of floor.
