| SECURITY PROCEDURES FOR SHIPPING TO AN ADDRESS THAT'S DIFFERENT FROM THE CREDIT CARD BILLING ADDRESS - ALTERNATE SHIP TO ADDRESSES:
We will only ship to a bank-verified cardholder name & address. If you want to ship to a name or address that's different from the credit card Billing Address, you must add it to your credit card account:
1) Please contact your credit card issuer's customer service dept and ask if they'll allow you to add an alternate shipping address to your account (their phone number should be located on the back of your credit card or on your monthly statement).
2) Add the shipping name and/or address on your order to the credit card account as an "authorized alternate shipping address" and so we'll be able to obtain verification. If the issuer does not allow shipping to an alternate address, we can only ship to the cardholder's address.
These regulations are established by the credit card companies for ALL "card not present" mail, phone and internet orders to protect the consumer. It is NOT our store policy, it is the policy of Visa, Mastercard and Discover. We comply with their requirements and take a very active role to prevent online fraud. Suspicious orders are reported to the issuing bank and your ISP address is logged in the Yahoo system for investigation.
If you prefer to shop with merchants who do not follow verification procedures to protect your account and make it easier for fraudsters to use your hijack your card to ship lots of great stuff to themselves, we encourage you to shop there and take your chances. We prefer to treat your credit card with the highest level of security.
